MiramMS Installer
Automatic installation is recommended: Start by downloading MiramMS Installer. This installer automatically sets up MiramMS for you in a quick and convenient way.
If something goes wrong: If the automatic installer does not work as expected, you can follow the manual installation guide further down the page instead.
Tip: If Windows or your security software displays a warning when the installer starts, you may need to allow the file manually to continue the installation.
Step 1 – Install MapleStory V.83
Manual installation: If the automatic installer does not work as expected, follow the steps below to install MiramMS manually.
Step 1: First download "V.83 MapleStory Setup" and install MapleStory in the default location: "C:\Nexon\". Open the "MapleStory" folder inside "C:\Nexon\" ("C:\Nexon\MapleStory\"). Immediately delete the following items from the MapleStory folder: the entire "HShield" folder, "ASPLnchr.exe", "MapleStory.exe", and finally "Patcher.exe".
Steps 2 & 3 – Add the client and start the game
Step 2: Download "MiramMS V.0.83 Client" and extract ALL files from "MiramMS-WINDOW.rar" into "C:\Nexon\MapleStory". Choose "Replace the files in the destination" when Windows asks what to do.
Your antivirus software will probably flag "MiramMS-WINDOW.exe" (the client) as a virus. Allow the program in Windows Security as soon as the warning appears.
Step 3: Right-click "MiramMS-WINDOW.exe" and select "Properties" → "Compatibility" → "Change settings for all users". Enable "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and choose "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)". Also enable "Run this program as an administrator". Start MiramMS by running "MiramMS-WINDOW.exe". Play and enjoy!
